Job Description:

The Associate CAD Designer serves as a crucial liaison between the company and its customers, with a strong focus on Design support, custom cabinet design, and accurate order processing. The position involves both customer-facing communication and internal coordination with departments like manufacturing, sales, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and quote custom cabinets using CAD and Cabinet Vision.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal staff.
  • Conduct design review meetings with plant managers.
  • Pre-check, enter, and follow up on orders in the system.
  • Handle rush orders, order acknowledgments, and sign-offs.
  • Coordinate with accounting and manage custom finishes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Keep up with production flow through the spray booth.
  • Spray molding, panels, tall frames, and custom pieces with consistency and quality.
  • Rotate duties with other sprayers to maintain efficiency.
  • Monitor equipment pressures and specs; report issues to the Team Leader.
  • Keep paint guns full and ensure material is available for smooth workflow.
  • Order and track paint/material usage to stay ahead of production needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow sprayers to prevent material shortages.
  • Clear molding racks and support team members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The Scheduling and Logistics Manager is responsible for managing our production schedule while also leading a small team that handles logistics scheduling and the printing of essential plant paperwork. This includes detailed department schedules, shipping labels, and other documentation critical to smooth plant operations. This individual is responsible for creating the production schedule that ensures all orders are accurately planned and sequenced to support on-time delivery and efficient plant operations. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and process improvement skills to optimize workflows, minimize disruptions, and support overall plant performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create weekly production schedule to align with our plant capacity and our customer’s delivery expectations
  • Oversee logistics operations including scheduling of inbound/outbound trucks, building strong carrier relationships, reviewing cost saving opportunities, and reviewing for optimization of truck routes
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of plant paperwork, including department schedules, cut lists, production/shipping labels, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate across all teams to address scheduling gaps, questions, and opportunities as needed
  • Compile data, creating reports to show trends, track performance, and assist in decision making
  • Develop and maintain process documents for daily functions
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost saving opportunities
